HOUSTON – A suspect has been arrested in connection with the pellet gun shooting deaths of a mother of four and a 20-year-old man.

Desi Thomas, 33, is charged with murder in the death of 57-year-old Frankie Cooper. Affectionately called “Miss Frankie” by everyone in the neighborhood, she was found dead at her home in the 1100 block of Neyland around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. She'd been shot in the head with a pellet gun.

Dan Thomas, 20, was also shot with a pellet gun. He was rushed to the hospital, but he later died.

Cooper's 21-year-old son, Justin, was treated for a minor wound.

Police said Thomas was at Cooper's north Houston home Tuesday night and had gotten into an argument with Miss Frankie. She ordered him to leave and told him not to return because he was causing trouble. He came back while the victims were sleeping and opened fire, according to police.
