ROUND ROCK, Texas -- The first In-N-Out Burger in Central Texas opened Tuesday in Round Rock.
The California-based burger joint opened its doors just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday on Interstated 35 and University Boulevard in the University Commons Shopping Center.
"It's the best tasting burger ever. Had it out in California and now it came out to Austin, so it's amazing. It's the best burger in town. Can't beat it," Rodney Malone said.
"I have a few friends from California, and they say it's the best burger they've ever eaten and anytime anybody makes a claim like that, I gotta take them up on their offer. That's why we're here and it's great. It's a phenomenal burger. I'm glad I came," Johnathan Ruis said.
KVUE's content partners at the Austin American-Statesman report that the burger restaurant has a drive-thru and seating for 77 guests.
