HOUSTON – An arrest warrant has been issued for the former Port of Houston IT director, who is accused of stealing from the agency.
Robert Carl Prohl, the former director of the Port of Houston Authority Information Technology Department, has been charged with theft. Prohl is accused of stealing funds between August 30, 2010 to January 24, 2013.
He has been charged with two counts of theft by public servant and one count of misappropriation of fiduciary funds.
Richard Wallingford, the president of Austin-based Wallingford Computer Services, has also been charged in the case. He is accused of knowingly making a false entry in a government invoice for payment. Wallingford is charged with tampering with a governmental record.
