HOUSTON – An undercover officer was among three people injured Tuesday after a pickup truck smashed into a Metro bus stop and then hit two cars and a billboard.
It all happened at about 2:20 p.m. on Westheimer and Bering in west Houston.
The car driven by the undercover police officer flipped onto its side after the collision. The officer was taken to Memorial Herman Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two people who were inside the pickup truck were taken to Memorial Southwest Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and could face charges, according to Houston police.
No one at the bus stop was injured.
