HOUSTON— Two students were arrested Thursday after a few fights broke out at a high school in Galena Park ISD.
Students at North Shore Senior High School said things were out of control from the start of the school day. A school spokesperson confirmed that at least four fights broke out.
A photo sent to KHOU 11 News by a student captured some of the chaos.
A spokesman said the two students who were arrested were not the fighters – instead they were cuffed for resisting arrest. On top of the two arrests, a number of students were suspended.
No one seemed to know if all the fights were connected.
A school spokesman said they already have officers based on campus, but they plan to beef up security starting Friday.
