HOUSTON – The Houston Texans will make the 20th selection in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
The draft order was determined in a coin flip between the Atlanta Falcons and the Texans Friday morning.
The Texans, Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers, who all finished with 9-7 records in 2009, will alternate the 18th, 19th and 20th selections throughout the rest of the draft.
This marks the Texans’ latest draft position, following their best record in team history. Prior to this year’s draft, Houston’s latest draft position was in the 2008 NFL Draft, when the team had the 18th selection.
