AVON PARK, Florida -- A debate over an basketball game wager sparked a food fight between teenagers at a juvenile detention center.
A cup of noodles was at stake, according to deputies.
The fighting started when the losing team refused to pay up and it spread across the campus,
Buildings were set on fire and golf carts were smashed. Seven kids were sent to the hospital.
Some parents were upset, but deputies had little sympathy for what happened.
"The parent that had that complaint should have raised child right so wouldn't have committed crime and been there in the first place," said Sheriff Grady Judd.
The sheriff said he plans to file felony charges against all of the kids involved.
