HOUSTON – A son’s dirty dealings were exposed after his mom took his personal computer in for repairs, according to details outlined in court documents.

Jason Landon Horne was charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.

According to Houston police, Horne’s mother dropped off his laptop at a computer repair shop on March 29, 2013. While working on the computer, a technician ran across some disturbingly nasty images.

The technician saw a boy, who appeared to be between 5 and 8 years old, nude and in a lewd position. The technician immediately called police.

Police obtained a search warrant for the computer and had it processed at the lab on April 19, 2013.

Almost a year later, on April 15, 2014, police interviewed Horne’s mother and another family member. Both denied placing any images of nude children on the computer.

Police interviewed Horne on May 1, at which time, he allegedly admitted that he was responsible for the nude images of children being on the computer.  He was arrested at his parents' home where he lives in the 3000 block of Evergreen Glade Drive in Kingwood.

Horne told investigators that he looked for teen gay porn and that he liked the pictures of children in the nudist places, such as on nude beaches, because that is not considered child pornography. But investigators found images of more than just children at nudist places on his computer. In fact, they found more than 5,000 images, many of them extremely graphic involving children in sex acts with adults, according to documents.

Charges were filed and Horne’s bail was set at $50,000 for each count, totaling $150,000.
