HOUSTON -- Web sites are buzzing with leaked copies of Black Friday ads for major retailers. As always, this year’s list of so-called door-buster deals includes incredible prices on electronics -- something analysts say may not sell too briskly this year. So stores are offering bigger and better deals than ever to entice consumers. Retail giant Wal-Mart is offering a ton of deals, and it promises to match any other store’s advertised Black Friday bargains. WAL-MART BLACK FRIDAY DEALS: 50-inch plasma TV -- $598 Magnavox Blu-Ray player -- $78 Barbie Power Wheels rideable toy Jeep -- $88 Hewlett-Packard laptop -- $298 XBOX 360 with three games -- $199 TARGET BLACK FRIDAY DEALS: Tom-Tom GPS -- $97 Camcorder (Brand Not Specified) -- $39 40-Inch 1080 p LCD TV $449 SEARS BLACK FRIDAY DEALS: Energy-efficient washer/dryer set -- $600 Betsy Gelb, Ph.D., a marketing expert at the University of Houston’s Bauer School of Business, said stores should have plenty of these Black Friday sales items in stock. Otherwise, they will incur the wrath of customers. "’First, wait in line, and then walk in so I can antagonize you.’ This is not the way to profit," said Gelb. "This is the way to, they will tell 20 people that they waited in line for however many hours and it was gone. So I have to believe stores, in general, are smarter than that." Look for retailers to publish their official Black Friday ads Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Web sites are already tracking the deals.
