SAN ANTONIO -- A 25-year old man is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a stabbing earlier this month.
According to his arrest warrant, Joseph Williams was picking up his girlfriend at her parent's house Dec. 12 when a heated argument turned violent.
The couple has a child together.
Williams was arguing with the victim in the driveway when he allegedly threw a punch. The two fell to the ground, and that's when the victim's wife claimed Williams started stabbing the victim, a 40-year-old man.
The man was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center, where he was treated for his stab wounds.
While in the hospital, the victim told police the fight started after he asked Williams to leave.
Williams was arrested this weekend and booked into the Bexar County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
