HOUSTON – Do you think you’re a good driver? If you said "yes" and you live in Houston, you might be fooling yourself.
Allstate just released its 7th-annual Best Drivers Report, and Houston ranked No. 155 out of 200 of America’s largest cities.
And that’s a slight improvement over last year’s report.
According to Allstate, drivers in Houston are 28.7 percent more likely to be involved in a crash than the national average.
As far as the Texas cities included in the survey, Houston isn’t the worst.
Laredo was the safest town for drivers, and Garland was last in the Lone Star State.
San Antonio and Austin ranked ahead of Houston, but Dallas ranked below.
Fort Collins, Colo., was named the safest city for drivers.
