GRAPEVINE -- A Fort Worth couple has their hands full after welcoming quadruplets into the world.

Anna Hall gave birth to quadruplets, three girls and one boy, on May 5 at Baylor Medical Center at Grapevine with her husband Josh by her side.

Brooks (weighing 3 pounds, 11 ounces) was born first. His sisters Sadie (2 pounds, 15 ounces), Elle (3 pounds, 6 ounces) and Ivy (3 pounds, 5 ounces) followed behind. The hospital said in a release that Ivy and Elle are identical twins.

The Halls already have two daughters who are four and two years old. Making their big day extra special, the quadruplets were born on their dad's birthday, the hospital said.

"We feel very blessed to welcome these four new children into our family," Josh Hall said.

This is the first set of quadruplets to be born at Baylor Medical Center in Grapevine.

"It was an exciting afternoon here," said hospital President Steve Newton. "What made it even more exciting is to see how efficiently our team worked to deliver the hospital's first set of quadruplets. Our advanced care team held practice drills and was well prepared for this multiple birth."

Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Dr. Sherry Kappler, said most quadruplet pregnancies last 29.5 weeks. Anna Hall's pregnancy lasted close to 32 weeks, and she had been on bed rest at Baylor Grapevine since week 26.
