HOUSTON—A toddler was rushed to the hospital Friday evening after being run over by a pickup truck. It happened in the Parkway Ranch subdivision located on West Montgomery in northwest Harris County.
Police said around 6 p.m. the two-year-old and his grandmother were riding scooters across the street when a pickup truck rounded the corner and hit him. The female driver ran over the child, then rolled back.
The child was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time. The woman driving the truck was also taken to the hospital. Police said she was in a frenzied state after the accident.
