HOUSTON – A late night accident Tuesday seriously injured a pedestrian walking near the Gulf Freeway.
It happened around midnight near Interstate 45 and Bryant.
According to the Houston Police Department, the pedestrian was crossing Bryant Road when a car came around the corner without stopping at a stop sign. The car struck the pedestrian, who was sent to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police said the driver of the car was given a class C ticket citation for failing to stop and hitting the pedestrian.
