One of Texas' top 10 most-wanted fugitives nabbed in Houston

HOUSTON -- One of Texas’ top 10 most-wanted fugitives has been nabbed in Houston.

Binus Jackson IV, 41, was wanted for a parole violation and had outstanding robbery warrants in Bellmead and Fort Worth.

Investigators thought he was living in the Waco area, but agents developed information that led them to Houston, where they said Jackson was living and working using someone else’s identity.

DPS investigators, assisted by Highway Patrol troopers, arrested Jackson without incident Tuesday.

He had been on the top 10 most-wanted list since March 13, 2009.

Of the remaining most-wanted fugitives, one of them was last known to be in the Houston area.

Gwen Komahcheet, whose last known address was in Spring, is wanted for aggravated rape with a deadly weapon and failure to register as a sex offender.

The other most-wanted fugitives are as follows:

Richard Zuniga—last known address: San Elizario-El Paso County. Wanted for capital murder in El Paso in 2009. Zuniga has been a fugitive since then. His criminal history includes aggravated assault with a gun and drug possession.  He is a known gang affiliate.

Jose H. Morales—last known address: San Antonio. Wanted for failure to register as a sex offender. His criminal history includes sexual assault, possession of marijuana, assault, burglary and unlawfully carrying a weapon.  He is a known gang affiliate.

Robert Barrera Jr.—last known address: Austin. Wanted for obstructing police, escape and burglary of a habitation.

George Felix Deleon—last known address: El Paso. Wanted for parole violation. Deleon’s criminal history includes convictions for arson, aggravated assault and homicide.

Gaspar E. Loya III—last known address: Weslaco. Wanted for indecency with a child, burglary, failure to register as a sex offender, escape and unlawful flight.
Rene Morales Munoz -- last known address: Laredo. Wanted for homicide, probation violations and possession of cocaine.

Leeroy Suarez—last known address: New Braunfels. Wanted for homicide, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful flight.

Ngoc Van Tran—last known address: Amarillo. Wanted for murder, delivery of a controlled substance and burglary of a habitation.   

Texas Crime Stoppers offers rewards of up to $5,000 to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest of any of the top 10 fugitives. Tips can be called in to the Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-252-8477 or submitted online at the Texas DPS website. Tips can also be sent via text message – just type the letters DPS plus the tip and send to 274637.
