MAGNOLIA, Texas—A man was in critical condition Monday after his hang-glider got tangled up in some power lines.

It happened Sunday night just east of Magnolia in Montgomery County.

Officials said the man was flying in his motorized hang-glider when he crashed into the lines. He broke both legs and suffered severe facial injuries.

Paramedics wanted to airlift the man to the hospital, but they were unable to do so because of the fog.

He was taken via ground ambulance instead.

His identity was not known.
