HOUSTON—A 32-year-old man is facing intoxication manslaughter charges after his passenger was killed in a crash Tuesday morning. It happened around midnight on Aldine-Westfield at Greenbriar Colony. Harris County deputies said the suspect was heading northbound on Aldine-Westfield when he failed to yield for a left turn. A woman driving southbound was unable to stop in time and slammed into the passenger side of the suspect’s vehicle. The passenger, a 40-year-old man, was killed instantly, deputies said. The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Deputies administered a field sobriety test to the suspect and took him into custody at the scene.
