SAN ANTONIO -- A man took off in a stolen hearse from a northwest side church and made it 115 miles to Junction, Kimble Co. Sheriff's office said.

Omar Alejandro Gutierrez drove off with an older model hearse for the El Divinio Salvador United Church, according to a spokesperson. The hearse had been left running due to the cold weather.

Gutierrez was found near FM 1674 in Junction eating a burger, the sheriff's office said.He had apparently driven off without paying for his burger when police got the tip.

He's being held without bond and is awaiting a transfer to San Antonio.
