HOUSTON—A man was arrested Tuesday after a standoff in northwest Harris County.
Houston police, along with the Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, said they tried to serve a warrant for Leroy Hayward at a home in the 2700 block of Whitinham. Hayward refused to come out at first, but surrendered after about an hour.
He is wanted for allegedly robing as many as 15 check cashing stores
