DOMINICAN REPUBLIC -- Six members of the Rotary Club of Houston have made it out of Haiti and will be headed back to the U.S. soon.
The Rotarians took a chartered flight from Haiti to the Dominican Republic where they landed late Friday morning.
They will fly to Miami later today, then back to Houston this evening.
The Rotarians had just landed in Haiti about an hour before the magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck on Tuesday.
