Hometown beauties crowned at Miss Houston, Miss Houston Teen pageants

HOUSTON – Two happy beauty queens added some "bling" to their wardrobes over the weekend, thanks to the Miss Houston and Miss Houston Teen 2010 pageants. 

Taylor Lanning took top honors as Miss Houston, and Hannah Johannes became Miss Houston Teen 2010 at the event, which was held at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel near the Galleria on Saturday.

Other notable contestants in the Miss Houston contest included 1st Runner-Up Brittany Kent, 2nd Runner-Up Thamer Favor, 3rd Runner-Up (and Miss Congeniality winner) Lauren Sapaugh and 4th Runner-Up Tara Crawford.

In the Miss Houston Teen contest, 1st Runner-Up Tiffany Faul, 2nd Runner-Up Caitlyn Rasmussen, 3rd Runner-Up Lindsey Cowsert, 4th Runner-Up Brennah Blackwelder and Miss Congeniality winner Devon Kline were also recognized.

Lanning and Johannes will represent the Bayou City in the Miss Texas USA and the Miss Texas Teen USA pageants in May.
