Harris County: Suspects sought in meat market robbery

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects who robbed a meat market.

The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. May 27 at the Frutilandia Meat Market, located at 12325 Veteran’s Memorial.

According to police, after entering the market, one suspect pushed away a customer while the other went around the back of the counter and pointed a gun at the clerk.

Police said the suspect demanded the clerk to empty all the money from the drawers, at which time the clerk complied. Before leaving the store, the suspects stole the customer’s ATM car.

Both suspects are described as men between 25 and 30 years of age and around 5 feet 9 inches in height. Police said one suspect has a noticeably skinnier build than the other.
