AUSTIN, Texas -- Details of Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott's tax return has been released to the public.

Abbott, who is currently running for governor, received more than $20,000 back after filing his taxes.

The tax return also shows that Abbott's income in 2013 went from $193,000 to $100,000 after deductions and exemptions, and he paid $34,000 in federal taxes.

He also paid $20,431 in property taxes and gave $6,650 to charity.
