VIRGINIA -- A 23-year-old man came across an envelope full of cash outside and decided to turn it in.

Jacob Kroko found the envelope with ten $100 bills inside next to his car outside a Walmart in Virginia.

“There is always the thought of I could leave right now and I’m a $1,000 richer, but the second thought is what if I lost that money,” said Kroko.

One other shopper was very candid about how she would have handled the situation.

“That’s wonderful that he would do that, but I’m just saying I would keep the money and spend it,” said the shopper.

The rightful owner now has his money back thanks to Kroko.
