HOUSTON -- Michael Brown, the former Houston hand doctor who was recently acquitted of assault, is back in legal trouble.
Brown has been cited for violating a protective order on his estranged wife.
Attorneys for Rachel Brown say her husband bought a home adjacent to hers so he could harass and spy on her. They also claim Michael Brown hired people to follow Rachel Brown around.
Brown was given a six day suspended jail sentence.
Michael and Rachel Brown are in the process of getting divorced.
In September, a jury found Brown not guilty in a case that stemmed from his estranged wife’s claims that he twisted her arm during a fight at their Memorial home.
The couple is set to appear in court Wednesday morning for hearings related to their divorce proceedings.
An attorney for Rachel Brown did not want to comment.
Dr. Brown’s attorney did not return a phone call.
