HOUSTON – Former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland was back in her hometown over the weekend.
Rowland was raising money for her "I Heart My Girlfriends" foundation.
"We’re gonna have us a little moment where we get to get our little party on and groove a bit and we’re excited," she said.
Saturday’s events included a ‘fashion and step show.’
Rowland said the goal of her foundation is to empower girls through their education and outreach programs.
