HOUSTON – An international flight was diverted to Bush International Airport Wednesday morning after a passenger died on board the plane, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD homicide said that American Airlines flight 962 from Sao Paulo was diverted when a 25-year-old woman died on the plane.
Investigators said the body has been sent to the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine cause of death. HPD said there was no sign trauma.
The flight continued on the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport at 10:15 a.m.
