HOUSTON—The FBI is seeking the public’s help identifying a bank robbery suspect they’ve dubbed the "Rasta Robber."

Investigators say the suspect held up the Wells Fargo Bank in the Randalls grocery store at 14610 Memorial Drive on January 5.

It happened right around noon.

Investigators say the suspect walked into the banking area wearing a dreadlock wig, makeup on his face and dark, red lipstick.

He stood in the teller line until he was approached by a bank employee, at which point he walked off.

A short time later, the suspect reportedly returned to the teller line and was approached a second time by a bank employee.

At that time, he again left the bank, this time exiting the grocery store, too.

Investigators say he returned moments later, approached a teller and handed over a note saying he would shoot her if she didn’t give him money.

The suspect did not display a weapon, and no one was injured.

He was spotted leaving the area on foot.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of the Rasta Robber.

If you have a tip or recognize the suspect, call 713-222-8477.
