HOUSTON -- A serial bank robbery suspect known as the "Billy Goat Bandit" has been identified, Crime Stoppers and the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force said.
Deandrian LaTroy Dently is suspected of participating in at least 12 bank robberies in Houston, Harris and Brazoria Counties.
He would either give a note or demand money from the teller, while also threatening to shoot if they did not comply, investigators said.
A Crime Stoppers tip led to the identification of Dently as the “Billy Goat Bandit.”
He was last seen driving a 1999 White Ford Expedition with Texas license plate number AG27206.
Anyone who has any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the arrest of Deandrian LaTroy Dently.
