CHAMBERS COUNTY, Texas—The East Freeway was completely blocked for hours Friday after an accident involving an 18-wheeler. It happened in the early morning hours on I-10 at FM 565 in Chambers County. Officials said a pickup rear-ended the big rig, and two people were airlifted to the hospital. The accident victims were reportedly trapped in their vehicles for more than an hour.
