HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Police are searching for a suspect who led officers on a chase through parts of northeast Harris County on Sunday.
Deputies said an officer was chasing the suspect on West Lake Houston Parkway near Lakeshore Landing around 2:15 p.m. when he crashed into another vehicle.
The officer fractured his ankle in the wreck and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Deputies said the suspect fled the scene, but officers traced his license plate back to a house in the 15000 block of Azalea Shores Court. That's where they found the suspect's car in the driveway.
Authorities said the suspect was nowhere to be found and is still at large.
