HOUSTON—Coast Guard crews were searching Thursday for a man who jumped off the Galveston Causeway Bridge.
The bridge was closed around 5 p.m. after a man reportedly drove to the top of the outbound bridge, got out of his car and jumped off.
He was last seen swimming toward Tiki Island, but there hadn’t been any sign of him for hours, officials said.
