Mayor's Celebration Rescheduled!

The Mayor’s Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting, originally scheduled for Friday, December 4 has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 10 at 6 p.m.. 

Aldine ISD --SAT testing scheduled for Eisenhower High School (Site 44492), Saturday, December 5, has been canceled. The rescheduled SAT test date at Eisenhower High School is Saturday, December 19.

Alief ISD canceled all extra-curricular activities for Friday and Saturday. SAT testing scheduled for Saturday at Hastings and Elsik has been canceled.

Clear Creek ISD—Travel start times will not being any earlier than 9:30 a.m. for Saturday activities.

Fort Bend Clinics—H1N1 and childhood vaccination clinics at 4520 Reading Road closing at noon Friday, canceled Saturday.  Clinical Health Services is expected to open again on Monday for regular business. The next H1N1 vaccination clinic will be Monday, Dec. 7 from 8:30 a.m. - noon and from 1- 4 p.m.

Galena Park ISD  -- All extracurricular activities for Friday and Saturday have been canceled.

Galveston ISD—all extra-curricular activities canceled for the weekend. All athletic events, fine arts performances, and rehearsals, after-school programs canceled at the recommendations of DPS and TX-DOT offices; rescheduling to be announced. 

Harris County Hospital District Community Health Centers to close at 3:00 p.m. Friday. Health Centers will open at normal hours on Saturday.

HISD has canceled SAT testing scheduled for Saturday at HISD high schools.  The test will be administered Dec. 19 instead.

Houston Community College‘s  Administration offices at 3100 Main will close at 12 p.m., Friday, December 4. All extra-curricular activities scheduled for Friday evening are canceled.

Houston Symphony administration has announced the cancellation of tonight's concert at Grace Church in Clear Lake.  Freezing conditions and icy roads are expected tonight causing the Symphony to exert caution and maintain safety for their audiences, musicians and instruments. 

Huffman ISD has delayed any activities planned for Saturday until 12 p.m.

Lamar CISD --  All district travel and activities planned for Saturday, December 5 have been canceled or rescheduled for a later start.  There will be no student activities or travel before 11 a.m. Saturday. Elementary UIL scheduled at the middle school campuses is canceled and has been rescheduled for January 9. SAT testing at Foster High is canceled.

La Porte Elementary—The Harris County Public Health H1N1 flu vaccination clinic scheduled for Dec. 5 at La Porte Elementary is cancelled. SAT testing set for Saturday at La Marque High School also has been cancelled.

Lone Star College System will resume normal operations on Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m.

Northeast College will close at noon, Friday, December 4, and all day Saturday, December 5.

Northwest College, including the Katy and Spring Branch Campuses will close at 2 p.m., Friday,    December 4. Saturday activities will be held as scheduled.

Pasadena ISD has delayed all activities scheduled for Saturday until 10 a.m.

Pasadena ISD’s South Houston High School - the SAT testing scheduled for Saturday at Pasadena ISD’s South Houston High, Dobie High and Rayburn High has been rescheduled for December 19th.

Pearland ISD has canceled all activities until 10 a.m. Saturday.

Pearland Tree-Lighting Ceremony at Pearland Town Center—canceled Friday night. The Lighted Christmas Parade scheduled for Saturday, December 5th has not been cancelled. The parade will begin at 5:30pm FM 518 from Pearland Parkway to Old Alvin Road.  Please be advised that sections of 518 will be closed to thru traffic from 5:30 p.m. to approximately 7 p.m.

Remington College has canceled all Saturday classes.

San Jacinto College will reopen Saturday at 10 a.m.

Southeast College will close at noon, Friday, December 4, and all day Saturday, December 5.

Southwest College will close at noon, Friday, December 4, and all day Saturday, December 5.

Splendora ISD has canceled all Saturday activities.

Spring ISD has canceled all extracurricular activities scheduled for Saturday, including SAT testing at Spring and Westfield High Schools.

Spring Branch ISD tournament events will resume at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Stafford Municipal School District has canceled all extra-curricular activities through 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, pending traffic conditions at the time.

Texas Woman’s University (TWU) Institute of Health Sciences – Houston Center campus will close today (Friday, 12/4/09) at 3:30 pm—due to weather. We will remain closed tomorrow (12/5/09) and reopen Monday, 12/7/09.

TSU will close Friday at 12 p.m. and remain closed through Saturday, Dec. 5. The football game between TSU and Southern University will still be played at 1 p.m. Saturday at Delmar Stadium.

Tomball ISD has canceled all extra-curricular activities through Saturday at 1 p.m.
