NOVOSIBIRSK, Russia -- When you go to the beach on a sunny, 100+ degree day, you'd never expect the weather to change like this. Check out this hail storm caught on camera in Russia on Saturday.
Look how hard the hail is hitting the water! Each of those pieces is about the size of a golf ball.
You can see beach goers try to cover their heads with umbrellas and anything else they can think of, as they get pelted with hail.
Meteorologists say this crazy weather swept in quick. Temperatures plummeted from 105 degrees to 71 degrees and then the hail started.
And as you can see, the storm kept getting worse. About two minutes into this video you hear a girl say in Russian "If we're going to die, I love you."
Thankfully, no one on the beach got hurt. One crazy guy in the video stayed in the water through this whole storm! He's okay, too.
Unfortunately, off of the beach, the storm turned deadly. The hail storm killed two small children not far from Novosibirsk. The 3-year-old and 4-year-old were taking shelter from the storm with their families in a tent, when a tree fell on top of the tent. They both sustained traumatic brain injuries.
