HOUSTON—The adoption process is not easy, especially for so many Harris County children up for adoption. There is a lot of self-imposed pressure to make a good impression on prospective parents. That is very tough for the children.
Children’s Protective Services does its best to lighten the mood when it comes to the adults and children getting to know each other. About twice a year, they try to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere in hopes of taking the pressure off everyone.
No one forgets the focus, especially the children.
