Getting ready to take a selfie? Stop. Put down your smartphone. No other selfie can top the one taken by Steve Swanson.

Swanson is a NASA astronaut working on the International Space Station. On Wednesday, astronauts performed a spacewalk to install a backup computer on the ISS.

During the spacewalk, Swanson snapped himself using Earth as his backdrop. His colleague, Rick Mastracchio, then shared the selfie on Twitter.

"The space suit makes it very difficult to get a good selfie," says Mastracchio on Twitter. "I tried several today."

I think we can safely retire the selfie, since it will be nearly impossible to top this one.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story said Mastracchio was pictured in the selfie. NASA confirmed the astronaut in the picture taken was Swanson. Mastracchio later shared Swanson's pic on Twitter.
