Teen acquitted on charges of threatening to shoot up elem. school

MT. WASHINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11)—A teen accused of terroristic threatening an elementary school has been acquitted.

Nicholas Bain was acquitted on charges of threatening to shoot up Old Mill Elementary School in Mouth Washington on Thursday.

Bain admitted to making a comment to his mother during an argument, but insisted it was a reckless statement. The statement was made more than two months before it was brought to the attention of police.
