CBS (LA) -- Twenty passengers reported feeling ill on an Atlanta-to-LAX Spirit Airlines flight Thursday, but none were hospitalized.
The flight landed at LAX at 12:08 p.m., and the airport’s public relations staff was notified of the sickened passengers shortly after.
Authorities quickly responded, including personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Airport Police Department.
None of the passengers were taken to the hospital.
Investigators were working to determine the cause of the illness. Spirit Airlines does not serve meals, but does serve in-flight snacks.
The Fire Department later released its units after determining there was no sign of anyone with an illness, department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
