HOUSTON -- An appeals court has ruled that a woman should go to trial for the murder of her husband more than two decades ago.

Carolyn Krizan-Wilson said a mysterious attacker snuck into her house in 1985 and then killed her husband Roy Jo McCaleb.

At the time, she was the number one suspect in the crime,
but investigators did not have enough evidence to charge her.

Then in 2008, a Harris County grand jury took a fresh look at that evidence and charged Krizan-Wilson with murder.

A judge threw out the case claiming too much time had passed to prosecute it, but this week an appeals court reversed that decision.
