Chevrolet is introducing a pickup truck aimed at hunters and outdoorsman.
The Silverado Realtree edition is covered in camouflage graphics from an outdoors company called Realtree, which Chevy says is the leader in camo designs. Chevy parent General Motors and Realtree have worked out a 10-year partnership.
The package is being offered on the Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 crew cab. Besides the exterior graphics, the Realtree logo shows up embroidered on the front-seat headrests. The truck also has black-out trim outside, making it look big and bad compared to an average pickup.
“The capability of Chevy trucks has always enabled customers to go where they want to go and that’s the inspiration for the new Silverado Realtree edition,” says Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet truck marketing, in a statement. “Personalized for the outdoorsman, this great-looking, very capable Silverado offers another choice for customers looking for a truck with style, capability and dependability.”
Ram has also offered a similar camouflaged pickup for hunters.
