You can blame or thank (depending on how you feel) the south winds for the increase in the humidity.
Cloudy skies will keep our temperatures mild overnight. You probably already noticed temperatures are 20 to 25 degrees warmer this morning compared to Thursday!
The warmer temperatures are all thanks to the high humidity. Clouds act like a blanket at night that traps the heat and thats why you'll probably already need the air conditioning!
If your plan is to head out to the rodeo tonight... heat, humidity and the chance for showers will be in place. You may want to take the umbrella just to be on the safe side. You won't need the jacket. Temperatures will be mild with a muggy south wind.
Our cold front should clear by Sunday night and that will drop the humidity for next week! 70's with sunny skies will return. Even our lows will be back in the 40's and 50's! Gorgeous again next week. Just have to get through a weekend of humidity first.
