Third night in a row an ATM is taken from luxury Houston hotel

The latest incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday at the Marriott on JFK near Bush Airport.

HOUSTON – Houston police say masked men have stolen an ATM from an area Marriott Hotel for the third night in a row.

The latest incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday at the Marriott on JFK near Bush Airport.
Witnesses say four men went into the lobby and grabbed the machine, which was not bolted down, and put it in the trunk of a Dodge Magnum.

A valet at the hotel told police at least one of the suspects was holding a machete.

The suspects fled and got away before police arrived.

Police are investigating similar crimes in the Houston area. On Tuesday night men stole the ATM from the Marriott in the Galleria, and the same thing happened Wednesday night at the Marriot on Westheimer near Beltway 8.
