Tracy Malbrough
News Producer Tracy Malbrough began her producing career in 1993. She's been at the helm of 11 News at Noon for the last six years.
"I began producing because I enjoy writing, but I especially love breaking news," Tracy says.
Tracy's job as producer includes deciding which stories to air and in what order, writing or editing each story, timing the newscast, and working with reporters and photographers on their stories.
She's also the one who communicates with the director and anchors when there is breaking news or other last-minute changes during the show.
Her most memorable experience was the day of the Shuttle Colombia disaster. "I jumped out of bed, arrived at work at 9 a.m., walked right into the booth and started producing and I didn't leave the booth until 6 p.m. -- not even for a bathroom break."

Carolyn Wallace
Director/Producer
11 News at Noon Director Carolyn Wallace is a news veteran
with more than two decades of experience. She's been
at Channel 11 for 17 years. Carolyn's is the main voice
you'll hear in Mission Control during 11 News at Noon.
She's the technical wizard who calls the shots during
the newscast. It's Carolyn's job to map out a newscast
in advance, then make sure it's technically flawless
on the air. With dozens of tapes, maps, graphics, camera
shots and live shots to keep up with -- that's no easy
task. If Carolyn looks familiar, it may be because she's
also a professional rock star on the Houston music scene
and she's even got her own CD.
