Everyone wants to shop organic but most of us are stopped dead in our tracks by the price. The truth is, you can save a bundle with shopping organic but you just have to know where to look. If you are someone who also buys specialty food for dietary needs like food allergies or gluten free, you will benefit from these tips as well!

{5 Ways to Save While Buying Organic}

1. Get Coupons: Yes, there are coupons available for organic and specialty foods. Call the companies directly and ask them for coupons and if they can send them to you. Have your family call and be sure to call back at least once a month. Always check the manufacturer websites too like EnjoyLifeFoods.com for example which showcases coupons on a regular basis.

2. Buy Local: Shop your local Farmers Markets to save money on local, fresh, organic produce. You'll save money and endorse local businesses as well.

3. Shop the Sales: Just like buying conventional food, you'll save the most money by planning your menu around the weekly sales flyers. You'll be channeling your creativity too by coming up with new meals planned around sales. Sales flyers bring savings of up to 50% off, that means you'll save money without ever clipping a coupon.

4. Case Discounts: Stores like Whole Foods for example, offer case discounts as an amazing way to save. I can buy the item on sale, use my coupons and pick up a case to save an extra 10%. Check with your local store to find out about case discounts.

5. Shop Online: Amazon.com is one of my biggest ways to save when it comes to my son's specialty foods. I can buy in bulk and at rock bottom prices without ever leaving my house!

See what I mean? Yep, it is possible to buy organic and save money. If all else fails, use coupons on personal care items like shampoo, soap, etc to get those cheap then take the extra savings to invest into your organic shopping. :)
