On any given day, an estimated 35,000 people are hungry in Houston. Help Houston families struggling with hunger during the Spirit of Texas Food Drive. Lighten up Santa’s load this holiday season and bring joy to your neighbors in need. Donate a new, unwrapped toy to the Spirit of Texas Toy Drive." Join Channel 11 and Wreaths Across America Houston as we honor those buried at Houston National Cemetery by placing a wreath at every gravesite. Channel 11 teams up with area grocery stores and other media partners to tackle Houston hunger during the Souper Bowl of Caring Greater Houston Food Drive. When you give blood, you can help save three lives. Each year, Channel 11 joins the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for the Spirit of Texas Blood Drive.
