ORLANDO, Fla. - You can bet that if there was a way to make “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” any more magical, Universal Orlando would find a way.
For the first time, people can witness what it would be like to celebrate the holidays like the wizards and muggles you know and love.
Both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are filled with Christmas decorations just as unique and detailed as the themed worlds. Holiday sounds from the Frog Choir and Celestine Warbeck and the Banshees fill the air. While watching their performances, you can enjoy special, holiday-themed food.
When night arrives, the Hogwarts castle has a magical transition created by projection mapping brining Christmas inspired scenes a to life.
Harry isn’t the only holiday celebration at the parks. There’s a brand-new parade featuring some of the park’s favorite characters including “Minions,” “Madagascar” and “Shrek.”
The partnership with Macy’s brings more than a dozen new balloons, 15 floats and more than 100 performers. Watch the sky for what one of our viewers affectionately called “Snowfetti.”
For those of you who love the Grinch, the “Grinchmas Who-Lindsay Spectacular” is back again with all The Who’s from Who-village.
Holiday cheer at Universal Orlando Resorts kicks off Saturday, Nov. 18 and runs daily through Jan. 6.
