PEARLAND, TEXAS - People from all over the Houston area are driving to Pearland to see one Christmas light display.
Clint Richardson's Astros-themed display is a mini Minute Maid Park.
"They're excited to have something to cheer about," said Richardson. "They come by on trailers full of people. They want to come into the yard. They take a picture with their favorite player, of course."
Last year, Richardson's Texans display earned him top honors in the local lights contest. This year, the Astros display didn't get him a first-place finish, but only because his lights were off and he was out of town during the judging. The display is still a neighborhood favorite.
"I thought it was amazing," said one woman. "We were driving around looking at the lights and this is the best, best one."
Richardson says the whole thing took about three weeks from start to finish.
"Once they won the World Series, it was a no brainer," said Richardson.
The winning lineup is in place, every jersey was crafted and painted by hand. He also ordered a replica of the World Series trophy and that's making for some great photo ops too.
"They're coming from all over Houston," said Richardson. "I spoke to some folks from Spring and Conroe. I want everybody to come out and enjoy the lights," said Richardson.
If you'd like to come by Richardson's display, you can find it at 2305 Golfcrest in Pearland.
"We did this for the people to enjoy and have a good time."
