HOUSTON—If you’ve never gotten the jitters, then you might want to try Jitters Coffee in Atascocita. 11 News Viewers chose this shop as one of the top three coffee houses in the Houston area.
“It’s always the best coffee that I can get my hands on,” said Amanda Robottom.
Robottom also likes the space set aside for kids, which Jitters says is part of the shops formula for success.
We also found plenty of people visiting and having coffee and espressos at the Catalina Coffee shop on Washington near downtown. 11 News viewers chose it as our second best coffeehouse.
So, how good is the espresso here?
“I can’t really say exactly what I would say, but you know, but it’s pretty good espresso,” said Harlan Hodges, laughing.
In Deer Park, we got a “brewed awakening” at the place 11 News viewers chose as the number one coffee house. The number one seller at this shop on Center Street is the Texas Pecan coffee.
At Brewed Awakenings the customers say it’s not just the coffee that’s good, it’s the place. It just feels so comfortable.
“As I said you walk in and it’s warm, you feel welcome,” said customer Tammy Baughman.
The top three shops in this week’s 11 Best are locally owned.
