HOUSTON – Traffic was at a standstill Friday afternoon in east Houston after an 18-wheeler flipped on its side while trying to make a turn.
The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. at the interchange of Highway 610 and Highway 225.
Authorities said the driver of the 18-wheeler was heading southbound on Highway 610 and attempted to get on eastbound Highway 225 when he lost control of the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the wreck.
