GALVESTON, Texas — Authorities have arrested three more people in connection with the kidnapping and possible sexual assault of a woman who was apparently snatched during Mardi Gras festivities.

Galveston police said they went to Friendswood to find Darrel Johnson, Greg Hill and Daniel Rogers. All three were charged with aggravated kidnapping.  On Monday afternoon police arrested Aaron Lededric Brown, 20, in the 5000 block of Watkins Way in Friendswood. He was also charged with aggravated kidnapping.  His bond was set at $175,000, according to police and jail records.

Police launched an investigation on the report of a kidnapping with intent to commit sexual assault after a woman, 23, reported early Sunday evening that she was abducted from the 2300 block of The Strand.

The woman was apparently last seen at 1 a.m. Sunday and found some six hours later.

The woman told police she was forced into a car and sexually assaulted there. Then the men allegedly drove her to an apartment complex in Friendswood and allegedly sexually assaulted her again, police said.

Citing the fear of compromising the investigation, a police spokesman hasn’t commented on whether the woman knew her abductors.
